Day Services provider located in Marsfield NSW

Minimbah is a NDIS registered not-for-profit day service provider for adults with complex intellectual disabilities. We deliver services at our centre in Marsfield NSW and in the community.

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers committed to delivering high quality services in an empathetic, professional, friendly, and supportive manner.

Your Role:

In this interesting and satisfying role your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing person-centred support that enables each client to express choice and control in the types of supports and activities offered.

• Assisting clients with all aspects of their daily lives including personal care, meals, behaviour support and medications.

• Working independently and as a member of a small team to contribute to care plans by documenting behaviours and other client-focused information.

Your Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Experience in the disability sector delivering person-centred services for people with intellectual disabilities or equivalent experience in another sector

• Well-developed communication and people skills 

• Experience in supporting clients with complex intellectual disabilities and  challenging behaviours would be highly regarded

• A NDIS Worker Screening Check.

• An appropriate visa that entitles you to work in NSW or be an Australian Citizen

• NSW Driver's Licence is preferred but not essential
