East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing the five communities of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof, in North Western Victoria.

East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) currently has a fantastic opportunity to join the Quality and Risk team on a part time, ongoing basis as a Quality and Risk Officer.

The Quality & Risk Officer role will require a good understanding of the Victorian Health Incident Management System (VHIMS) and encompass data collection and quality report writing for internal stakeholders using VHIMS and other sources, such as audit collation. You will also provide prompt guidance and support to other staff in the use of VHIMS and assist with maintaining the EWHS Risk Register.

Excellent communication, data entry and writing skills will be required to assist the Quality and Risk Coordinator in overseeing the accreditation requirements, compliance processes and data management in the implementation of the EWHS Quality Frameworks and organisational Risk Management.
