We will provide you with WFH IT equipment plus reimbursement of up to $500 for additional equipmentLearning and career development programs for all roles and levelsFree daily breakfast, office drinks and social eventsGenuine commitment to health and wellbeing, pro bono and community, and diversity and inclusion across our firmLearn more about what Hall & Wilcox can offer you: About The Role And TeamWe have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Manager to join our national People & Culture team on a permanent ongoing basis.This role can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney, and is a full-time position, however flexible working arrangements will be considered.Our national People & Culture (P&C) team encompasses the full spectrum of human resources functions, including P&C Business Partnering; P&C Operations; Talent Acquisition; Early Careers; Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing; Learning & Development; Performance & Reward; Organisational Development; and Systems & Reporting.Reporting to the Senior Organisational Development Manager, with a dotted line to the Director of People & Culture, this newly created role will establishand lead our internal communications function. You'll shape and lead the communications strategy, set the tone and drive initiatives that help our people feel informed, connected and engaged.This is a collaborative role, working across the firm's executive and leaders, the P&C function, and our External Communications team.You will be responsible for:Setting the Communication Strategy: Design and roll out an internal communications framework that supports our firm's strategy, simplifies messaging, and fosters a sense of belonging.Supporting Change: Create clear, thoughtful messaging to guide our people through organisational change with confidence and clarity.Building Culture & Engagement: Use communication to strengthen the firm's culture by promoting transparency, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose.Partnering with Leaders: Help senior leaders communicate with impact - ensuring messages are consistent, strategic and aligned with our firmwide priorities.Creating Content: Write and produce compelling internal content, including newsletters, announcements, and digital campaigns.Optimising Channels: Define and refine the best ways to communicate across the firm, and support leaders to use these channels effectively.Listening and Learning: Set up feedback loops to ensure our communications are two-way, responsive and effective.Linking with External Communications: Align internal and external messaging for campaigns; and make smart use of platforms like our website, social media, podcasts.Measuring impact: Track engagement and effectiveness, and use insights to improve how we communicate.About YouYou'll bring experience in strategic internal communications and change messaging, with a strong of organisational culture. Prior valued experience would be an internal communications role within a corporate communications function, or a stand-alone communications role within a smaller organisation.We're looking for someone who:Has solid background in internal or corporate communications, ideally in professional services or similar contemporary corporate environment;Can confidently advise senior leaders and shape strategic messaging;Balances big-picture with day-to-day delivery;Understands how organisational culture and engagement are shaped through communication;Writes in a clear and compelling way for diverse audiences;Is commercially savvy and service-oriented;Manages projects well - defining scope, engaging stakeholders and measuring outcomes;Works well in a team, but is also self-driven; andOperates with strong integrity and discretion.About UsHall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
