PIMS Group is a leading supplier of labour and equipment to underground coal mining operations throughout Queensland and New South Wales. We have built strong relationships with our clients and employees, and we are continually looking for great people to join our team.
We are currently searching for a Payroll Officer to join our experienced team at our head office in Mackay. On offer is a full-time salaried position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Ideal skills and experience include:
- Processing and reconciliation of payroll ensuring confidential, accurate and timely processing including preparation of payroll reconciliations;
- Ensure that payroll deadlines are met – payroll, reconciliations; deduction payments, superannuation, salary packaging etc;
- Ensure compliance with Government legislation and requirements;
- Actively participate in internal and external audits;
- Liaising with HR to ensure accuracy of payroll master data;
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook;
- A strong work ethic;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, open office environment.
