Due to continued company growth, we're seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Part Time Accounts Officer to join our team based at our Laverton Head Office, with the possibility of full-time employment in the future.

In your new role with us, you will be:

  • Entering account customer invoices into the accounting system accurately and promptly
  • Reviewing day sheets and concrete batch reports to ensure all concrete loads are correctly invoiced
  • Processing and receipting customer payments in a timely manner
  • Preparing and reconciling daily bank batches, including EFTPOS, credit card, cash, and cheque transactions, while investigating and resolving any discrepancies
  • Ensuring all cash and concrete cash sales receipts are correctly allocated against invoices and sales orders
  • Assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
  • Supporting end-of-month and end-of-year accounting processes
  • Participating in ongoing process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Performing other finance or administrative duties as directed

Successful applicants will possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar Accounts or Finance role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience using MYOB EXO or similar accounting systems (preferred)
  • Strong reconciliation and data entry skills
  • A professional and reliable work ethic
  • Respectable employment history and commitment to safety
