Due to continued company growth, we're seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Part Time Accounts Officer to join our team based at our Laverton Head Office, with the possibility of full-time employment in the future.

In your new role with us, you will be:
- Entering account customer invoices into the accounting system accurately and promptly
- Reviewing day sheets and concrete batch reports to ensure all concrete loads are correctly invoiced
- Processing and receipting customer payments in a timely manner
- Preparing and reconciling daily bank batches, including EFTPOS, credit card, cash, and cheque transactions, while investigating and resolving any discrepancies
- Ensuring all cash and concrete cash sales receipts are correctly allocated against invoices and sales orders
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Supporting end-of-month and end-of-year accounting processes
- Participating in ongoing process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Performing other finance or administrative duties as directed

Successful applicants will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts or Finance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience using MYOB EXO or similar accounting systems (preferred)
- Strong reconciliation and data entry skills
- A professional and reliable work ethic
- Respectable employment history and commitment to safety
