Worthington Homes, a well-established residential builder based in the Hills District with a passion for delivering high quality homes, is seeking a motivated Senior Production & Sales Estimator to join their team.

With your strong estimating skills and experience, you will be responsible for effectively producing accurate, cost competitive and timely sales & production estimates for the Company's portfolio of project and custom design homes. You should have well-rounded experience in both project home residential and custom home construction.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Preparing production and sales estimates, pricing and scope management in line with regulatory and Company standards that meet the client requirements.
  • Preparing Tenders and standard variation pricing with accuracy.
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors as required.
  • Maintenance of the estimating database to ensure accuracy and currency.
  • Undertaking materials and quantities take offs.
  • Issuing of Job Purchase Orders, Variation Orders and Job Orders.
  • Preparing schedules, Bills of Quantities and documentation.

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Minimum 3 years' estimating experience with a project home builder
  • Experience in the use of estimation software packages such as Databuild and PlanSwift.
  • Have a proactive, hands-on and creative approach to all aspects of the role meeting Company and Client expectations.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving capabilities and attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of computer programs including, but not limited to Microsoft office suite (particularly in Excel) and others
