We are partnering with MKS Group to find their next Accounting superstar.

The Role

An exciting Accounting opportunity has become available to support the business, the team and their clients. This position will be involved in providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of clients, including high net wealth individuals, partnerships, trusts and both large & small organisations. The role will expose the successful candidate to numerous clients across a broad range of industries with a strong compliance and tax focus.

Day to Day

As a management Tax Accountant professional, you will have a diverse range of general skills, but a key focus on:

  • As this is a client facing role, you will need excellent people & communications skills
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to a range of clients the business services
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients
  • Preparation of comprehensive financial statements
  • Preparation of income tax returns and advice
  • Preparation of BAS and other general accounting tasks
  • Liaising with ATO

Skills needed.

  • Previous experience as a Tax Accountant
  • Qualified CA / CPA
  • Strong interpersonal & client service skills
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and MS Excel
  • Efficient utilisation of ATO Portal

Reporting to a Partner based locally, you will be given the support and guidance needed to be successful in your role. The right attitude and a willingness to work to outcomes will be key to success with this organisation.
