Job Description:
- Following recent changes and growth, the Prysmian Australian Supply Chain team is hiring Based at our Dee Why site determining, implementing and monitoring the engineering strategies and plans of the production engineering system of SAP.
- Generate and interpret the plans for the system and coordinate daily production / planning meetings - setting the plan, understanding the WIP, status, problem solving etc.
- Ensuring Raw material availability for production based on forecast
- Running forecast of raw material and fibre based on commercial forecast
- Creating purchase requisition of raw material and fibre
- Managing stocks to secure product availability and excellent service level towards operation
- Communication with stakeholders like production planner, operations, quality control, supply chain. Knowledge, skills and education needed for the Job
- Following up on raw material purchases completion and delivery
- Responsible for inventory management of raw material and fibre
- Work proactively with the production team to deliver plan, maximise constraints and resolve issues that may impact an effective workflow.
- Coordinate and manage the WIP levels for given area in line with agreed targets.
