Production Planner / Coordinator - FMCG Manufacturing

Durablend Pty Ltd is a leading contract manufacturer specialising in food and nutraceutical powders. We are looking for a detail-driven Production Planner / Coordinator to join our team and ensure our high-volume FMCG facility runs efficiently.

Position Overview

As the Production Planner / Coordinator, you will work in a team overseeing scheduling, inventory management, warehouse stock coordination, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

You'll also enter and close production orders in the ERP system, track and reconcile raw materials and packaging, and provide accurate reporting to both internal stakeholders and customers. The role involves close collaboration with production, warehouse, and quality teams to meet KPIs and maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise MRP software to maintain accurate material requirements.
  • Continuously review and improve planning and procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with QA and Production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Enter, update, and close production orders in the ERP system.
  • Track and reconcile stock, providing SOH and reconciliation reports.
  • Liaise with customers on deliveries, collections, and production meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records for traceability and audits.
  • Support continuous improvement and efficient reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 2–3 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally in food manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with procurement/MRP software.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Experience in TGA-level planning or procurement is advantageous.
