About The Role
Great permanent opportunity for a motivated
BI Business Analyst
to join the SunRice Group in
Sydney, Melbourne or Riverina
. As a member of our Information Technology team, you will i mplement and influence SunRice's Business Intelligence (BI) strategic objectives and contribute to the long-term roadmap. You will u tilise your functional knowledge to translate business requirements into viable solutions, leading effective requirements gathering and analysis to enable subsequent design, development, testing and implementation of BI & Analytics solutions. Delivering timely and effective BI configuration, support, and enhancements is also critical to enabling business success.

Key Responsibilities Include
Solution Delivery

  • Ensure requirements are fully understood for assigned business requests.
  • Consider all appropriate process and technology options for each business request.
  • Thoroughly estimate all resource requirements and activities in planning for delivery of solutions.
  • Timely and effective resolution of issues arising during delivery of solutions.

Business Support

  • Timely resolution of assigned support calls.
  • Pro-active observation of how BI is being used and provision of advice in how to improve utilisation.
  • Ensure robust and reliable systems are maintained

About You
To ensure success in this role, you bring strong
Power BI
and
SAP BW
expertise, supported by sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. With proven experience in IT service delivery, you have the ability to effectively manage and work on multiple projects and tasks, and build trusted stakeholder relationships across all levels.

You Will Also Have

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing data queries and data cubes in Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Experience in Power BI and SAP BW 7.5 and SAP CDS views.
  • Experience in SAP/business application support leveraging S/4 capabilities and best practices.
  • Experience in building and consuming Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to integrate data between systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing organization ( desirable).
