Your new company is a leading banking and finance organisation based in Melbourne who believes in making things happen and shaping a world where people and communities thrive.

They are currently looking for a Lead BI Analyst to join the team on a 12 month contract.

**Your new role**
As the Lead BI Analyst, you will be responsible for:

- Translate high level business requirements / needs into BI solutions
- Create prototypes in Tableau
- Build high impact visualisations / data story telling solutions leveraging Tableau capability
- Establish best practice configuration standards with the intent to reuse / and scale up
- Lead a team of BI engineers to deliver high quality BI products on Tableau & increase overall team throughput
- Effectively communicate across all ranges of stakeholders including senior executives & cross functional teams
- Extensively collaborate across teams with experience working on large projects of team size greater than 20
- Passionate about data and data visualisation / story telling with the ability to innovate and produce outputs that address unseen requirements as well

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated working experience with Tableau
- Experience managing or leading teams on projects
- Prior experience in the Banking and Finance sector
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

**What you'll get in return**
- A competitive day rate up to $1050 inc super
- As 12 month contract with potential for extensions
