About Us

The Prospect Project is a feel-good business making candles, perfumes, and good vibes in our Ossie Park studio. We've run over 400 workshops, donated over $140,000 to not for profit causes, and helped thousands of people create something beautiful with their own two hands. Our studio is fun, inclusive, and full of personality – just like us.

The Role

We're looking for a confident and engaging Workshop Assistant + Facilitator to host our Candle Making and Perfume Workshops. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in front of a crowd, loves sharing knowledge, and can keep the energy fun and relaxed while ensuring everything runs smoothly.

You'll be:

  • Leading groups through hands-on perfume & candle-making workshops
  • Creating a welcoming, inclusive, and fun studio experience
  • Managing time and flow to keep classes running smoothly
  • Helping set up / pack down classes
  • Assisting with retail sales, merchandising, and jumping in on prep tasks.

You'll need:

  • Weekend availability (this role is ongoing, weekends are essential)
  • Experience in presenting, teaching, facilitating, or performing (bonus points if you've worked in education, hospitality, theatre, or similar)
  • A warm, confident, and engaging personality
  • Great communication and people skills
  • A love of fragrance, creativity, and learning new things
