About the Role

We're expanding Following the achievement of several key milestones across our property development portfolio, we're growing our team to meet the exciting demands ahead. As part of this growth, we're seeking a motivated Assistant Development Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative environment.

As an Assistant Development Manager, you'll be integral to the success of a range of property development projects, supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes across all phases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Coordination and Support: Assisting in the development of project briefs, procurement of the consultant team, planning, design, project delivery support, and project reporting;
  • Financial Management: Ensuring timely and within-budget completion of services, feasibility studies and inputs, budget control, managing invoices and financial reporting;
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conducting research on market trends to inform decision-making;
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with clients, and other key project stakeholders whilst facilitating strong positive relationships; and
  • Contract Administration: Assisting in the preparation and management of contracts with vendors, consultants, and contractors.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and capability to thrive in challenging and demanding situations. You have strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and are able to work effectively within a team environment. You have a passion for creating meaningful places and an understanding of market dynamics.

Here are the strengths you possess and the background you'll need to be successful:

  • Previous Experience: Background in property development/construction sector with a drive to expand your career.
  • Key Skills: Passion for research, analysis, problem-solving, and the ability to develop feasibility studies and internal reports.
  • Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in a property-related field (property, urban design, town planning, project management, engineering, construction, or related discipline).
