**Our Client**
Our client is a specialist agricultural insurance agency providing products to the crop, farm, plantation timber and livestock industries in Australia. They have extensive insurance experience and rural expertise and manage the full life cycle of the insurance policy: from product development to underwriting to claims management.

**Role**

**Responsibilities**
- Produce New Business, Renewals and Endorsements in a timely and accurate manner;
- Adhere to Underwriting Guidelines;
- Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders, primarily insurance brokers;
- Liaise with all internal stakeholders in a collaborative fashion;
- Provide professional and market-leading service;
- Understand and educate external stakeholders on policy wordings and underwriting philosophy;
- Implement an underwriting strategy to achieve target growth and performance results;
- Maintain complete underwriting files for all transactions;
- Play an active role in developing policy wordings and underwriting strategy.

**Requirements**:

- Agribusiness qualifications and insurance experience (preferred), however young graduates are encouraged to apply
- Tier 2 qualification in general insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational and time management skills
- Excellent level of English language, both verbal and written
- Proficient computer knowledge (Word & Excel)
