Production & Dispatch Assistant – Precast Concrete Plunge Pools

As a Production & Dispatch Assistant at Plunge Pools Direct Pakenham, you'll be working within a team of production workers. You will be involved in the daily tasks on the production floor, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules. You'll monitor product quality to meet company standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment by ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Additionally, you'll manage materials and supplies to ensure a positive flow for production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forklift operation: moving stock and assisting with pool handling
  • Putting stock away and maintaining yard organisation
  • Assisting with dispatch, including taking photos of pools prior to delivery
  • Performing quality control checks on pools and completing basic reports in excel
  • Entering QC data into our system (basic computer skills required)
  • Washing and vacuuming pools prior to dispatch
  • Communicating with forklift drivers and truck drivers during loading
  • Monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies are low
  • Assist with stock take and order preparation
  • Maintain a clean and safe production floor

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or production environment
  • Current forklift licence (preferred, or willing to obtain)
  • Physically fit and willing to work outdoors and hands-on
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, simple reports)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fabrication experience is a plus
