About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable HC (Heavy-Combination) Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting precast concrete panels from our manufacturing plant in Colac to various construction sites in Geelong and Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HC trucks
- Transport goods in accordance with delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-operational and post-operational vehicle and relevant equipment checks
- Maintain and possess accurate logbook/diary and transport regulations
- Adhere to all road safety and relevant transport regulations to HC truck operations
- Communicate effectively with all transport stakeholders: coworkers, dispatchers, customers, etc.
Requirements:
- Required: Valid HC (Heavy Combination) Truck license
- Required: Knowledge and capability to follow fatigue-management and road safety laws in accordance with HC license
- Required: Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing
- Required: Good driving record with no major infringements
- Required: Good work ethic, reliable and have good time management skills
- Preferred: Previous 5 years of experience as a HC truck driver
