Employment Type: Full-Time

At The Travel Corporation (TTC), we're looking for a Payroll Officer, this role is central to delivering timely, accurate and compliant payroll processing for our incredible people across Australia and New Zealand.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

  • Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll using Micropay and ConnX
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and onboarding new starters
  • Managing payroll queries via email and phone with professionalism and a customer-first mindset
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, Australian taxation, superannuation, and Fair Work legislation
  • Coordinating with the People & Culture team on terminations, leave liabilities, and reporting
  • Supporting audits and handling administrative payroll tasks such as child support deductions and workers compensation reimbursements

What You'll Bring

  • At least 2 years' experience in Australian payroll, with strong working knowledge of income tax and payroll legislation and an understanding of New Zealand payroll requirements is a big plus
  • Proficiency in Micropay and ConnX is highly desirable
  • Experience interpreting awards or enterprise agreements, especially within hospitality or transport, will set you apart
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel), high attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent time management, communication skills, and a commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team
