**The Role**:
As a Payroll Officer, you will be an integral part of our finance department, responsible for efficiently and accurately processing payroll for our employees. You'll work closely with our People and Culture team and department managers to ensure timely payments and adherence to all relevant regulations and policies.

This is a permanent, full-time role based out of our vibrant Bondi Junction office offering hybrid work options.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Preparation and processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll using Micropay and ConnX
- Account activation of new employees in ConnX
- Produce other weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for internal distribution.
- Minimise risk of incorrect payments & processing errors and ensure adherence to legislation & company policies.
- Payroll Inbox: constant monitoring with all queries completed within 24 hrs.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and an organised, systematic approach to tasks.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong work ethic and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
