**Payroll Officer, The Travel Corporation**

We are looking for an up and coming payroll superstar to join our close knit and supportive team Based in the heart of Bondi Junction just minutes from public transport, The Travel Corporation is a leading global travel company with a welcoming, fun-loving culture.

Reporting to a supportive and knowledgeable Payroll Manager, you will receive coaching and mentoring in all aspects of the role. You will be involved in the processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls and become an integral part of upcoming projects. **The Role**

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll using Micropay & ConnX
- Maintenance of employee masterfiles
- Preparation of termination calculations and off cycle payments
- New employee set up and activation
- Weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reporting
- Advise employees on conditions of employment, company policies and procedures, and award provisions
- Preparation & payment of PAYG
- Administration of Workers Compensation claims including liaison with WC providers
- Establish & maintain employee e-files and conduct regular audit checks
- Provide assistance for preparing and processing monthly super contributions file & associated paperwork
- Minimise risk of incorrect payments & processing errors and ensure adherence to legislation & company policies
- Adhoc projects

**To be successful in this role, you will have;**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Australian payroll
- Previous exposure to payroll systems - Micropay Meridian highly preferred
- Knowledge & understanding of Australian income tax and payroll tax
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

**Desired Knowledge**
- Experience interpreting multiple awards and agreements
- Knowledge of National Employment Standards
- Knowledge of Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and LSL legislation
