We are currently seeking a motivated Payroll Officer for our Payroll team to join our high energy recruitment and workforce solutions brand, Techforce Personnel in a full-time office-based position, in the Perth CBD.

Your duties will include: 

  • Process weekly payroll
  • Importing payroll data into payroll software and maintaining accurate payroll records
  • Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, including Fair Work, PAYG, Superannuation, and STP
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal control standards
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations

Your experience 

  • Ideally minimum of 1 year payroll experience
  • Knowledge of Astute would be advantageous but not essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and systems in general
  • Ability to listen, learn and adapt quickly
  • Be committed to working in an office-based environment and to work cohesively within a small team, prioritising tasks and able to work effectively under pressure during processing days.
