Customer Support Officer
- Part time fixed term opportunity | 12 months
- Office based role in Singleton with onsite parking
About the role:
In this role, you will provide valuable and productive administration and customer service support to the Coal Services Health business unit. With your ability to work independently and multitask, you will manage a busy reception area in our Singleton office. You will be respectful towards customers and have a strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality guidelines to be able to accurately respond to queries and report requests.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Reception duties including being the first point of contact for customers and/or clients
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of the office by managing calendars, scheduling appointments and ensuring all bookings run smoothly and on time
- Manage incoming calls via a call queue
- Address any incoming emails
- Maintaining accurate information and file management
- Providing general administrative support
About you:
Your education, experience and skills will include:
- HSC or TAFE equivalent
- Cert III in Business Administration (desirable)
- Previous administration experience (required) preferably in a reception area
- Experience in a medical practice or scheduling and appointment allocation (desirable)
- Ability to work in a team and independently with a focus on customer service excellence
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Friendly and professional outlook combined with a strong work ethic
- Discretion and the ability to keep information confidential
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
