We are a boutique law firm specializing in commercial legal services for business clients, with a focus on Corporate Structuring, Capital Raising + M&A. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored legal solutions with a focus on contracts, business law, and client engagement.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a law student or recent graduate with an interest in commercial law and business. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks including client communication, legal research, preparing articles and newsletters, and keeping clients updated on legal changes.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct legal research on commercial and business-related topics.
  • Prepare articles, newsletters, and updates for clients regarding legal changes.
  • Assist with client communication and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team on projects
  • Provide administrative support as required.

     
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Currently studying a law degree.
  • Previous experience working in a law firm is highly desirable.
  • Strong interest in commercial/business law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate approximately 5 hours of work per week (with low potential for additional hours).
  • Experience with remote work is also viewed favourably or else a willingness to consider this format of work.
  • This position is suited for someone with a full study workload who is seeking to work no more than 2 days per week.
