Make a Real Impact
As an Employment Success Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting people with disability to overcome barriers and achieve meaningful employment. You'll work across our Raymond Terrace and Nelson Bay sites, typically two days in Raymond Terrace and three in Nelson Bay, with some flexibility week to week.
You'll work one-on-one with participants to build confidence, connect with employers, and provide tailored support that leads to long-term success.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Individualised Support – Identify barriers to employment and co-design practical, person-centred solutions.
- Participant Engagement – Build strong, trusting relationships and provide ongoing mentorship and motivation.
- Job Search & Onboarding – Assist with job applications, interviews, onboarding, and workplace integration.
- Employer Engagement – Partner with employers to create inclusive opportunities and resolve workplace challenges.
- Post-Placement Support – Deliver ongoing support and maintain accurate records to ensure sustainable outcomes.
- Community Networking – Promote Castle's services and build relationships with local businesses and community networks.

What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for someone who's passionate about inclusion and employment. You don't need to tick every box if you're motivated and values-aligned, we'd love to hear from you.
- Certificate IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in employment services, account management or community support
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy with attention to detail
- Empathy, integrity, and a commitment to inclusion
- Ability to work autonomously, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to varied participant needs and environments
Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver's licence or reliable transport
- Alignment with Castle's Vision, Purpose and Values
