Temporary Full-Time Opportunity – Customer Service Attendant (Kitchen & Food Focused)

6-Month Contract | Immediate Start

Freedom Fuels is an independent petroleum company with retail fuel and convenience outlets across Queensland and northern New South Wales. As part of the Idemitsu Kosan Co. Ltd group, we operate across retail, terminal operations, wholesale, and commercial fuel supply.

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Customer Service Attendant with strong kitchen and food handling experience to join our team on a full-time, 6-month temporary contract.


About the Role:

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with a focus on food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and providing an excellent customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food to high hygiene and safety standards
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food prep areas
  • Operate the point-of-sale console and process transactions
  • Deliver friendly and efficient customer service
  • Merchandise, rotate, and restock products
  • Keep the store and site clean, safe, and presentable

What We're Looking For:
  • Prior food preparation or kitchen experience (essential)
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Physically fit – able to lift up to 20kg and stand for extended periods
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and a professional, well-groomed appearance
  • Flexible, positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to commit to a 6-month temporary full-time role

Shifts:
  • Monday to Thursday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (30-minute break)
  • Friday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (30-minute break)
  • Full-time hours (38 hours per week)
