The Role
This is a long term role with a great opportunity for career development. Full training will be provided.
As a Warehouse 2IC, you will be trained in all aspects of our Service Centre operations to provide support for the Warehouse Supervisor and assist other departments regarding stock related queries. Your role will include time management and delegating work to team members, providing direction and coaching to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Maintaining inventory will also be a high priority, ensuring smooth procedure for inbound and outbound stock and investigating discrepancies that may occur to guarantee accurate inventory.
Primary Duties
Unloading trucks with forklift and staging deliveries for receiving.
Picking and packing orders.
Dispatching to retail outlets locally and interstate.
Maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
Communicating with the Warehouse Supervisor and providing direction to other warehouse team members.
Communicating with Dispatch and Stock departments to ensure smooth operations
Answering calls from retail outlets and assisting with queries regarding stock and other services.

About You
Detail oriented and able to multitask and work independently at a fast pace.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Initiative for continuous improvement and strong problem-solving skills.
Reliable, consistent and safety focused. Taking ownership and responsibility of your role.
Comfortable with technology, good computer literacy and can learn new procedures quickly.
Physically fit and able to lift loads up to 20kg.
Excellent communication both verbal and written.
Experience with ERPs or other Warehouse Management Systems a plus.
Experience with forklifts a plus.
Drivers licence holder.
