We are seeking an Operational Pallet Leader to join our Supply Chain team on a 6-month contract with possible extension, at our Head Office in Macquarie Park. This critical role will oversee the pallet and equipment management process across our national operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong compliance. Reporting to the Head of Distribution, you'll partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline operations, reduce pallet loss, and enhance overall pallet health.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Oversee and manage pallet control, ensuring accurate recording and tracking of transactions.
  • Manage CHEP and Loscam accounts, including weekly reconciliation and invoice accuracy.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and manage key contracts.
  • Collaborate across DCs, Baking, M&M, Finance, and Transport to reduce pallet loss risk nationally.
  • Develop and deliver KPI reporting on pallet management performance.
  • Support vendor engagement within the transport team, including annual leave cover.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, reporting hazards and incidents promptly.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • 3–5 years' experience in a similar pallet control role (transport operations experience desirable).
  • Proven CHEP & Loscam pallet management experience.
  • Proficiency with 2IC pallet management software and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Prior experience in warehouse/logistics operations.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational ability.
