About the Role

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:    Lead the internal sales function, with direct or indirect leadership of Internal Sales Representatives and/or Internal Sales Team Leaders

What You'll Bring

  • Lead the internal sales function, with direct or indirect leadership of Internal Sales Representatives and/or Internal Sales Team Leaders
  • Drive sales performance and customer service standards across the internal sales team
  • Ensure consistent workload distribution, quote turnaround, and outbound engagement
  • Monitor quote follow-up activity, conversion metrics, and CRM/ERP accuracy
  • Lead performance discussions, coaching sessions, and PIP (performance improvement plans) where required
  • Identify and implement improvements in team process, workflow, and customer outcomes
  • Ensure safety, policy adherence, and service compliance across the internal sales team
  • Support the operational rhythm of the branch, including awareness of warehouse activities, dispatch timelines, and customer expectations
  • Contribute to branch-level leadership meetings, reporting, and decision making
  • Manage escalations and resolve customer or operational issues promptly
  • Liaising with procurement, inventory, warehouse, or external sales to resolve customer challenges
  • Act as the 2IC to the Branch Manager and support day-to-day site leadership, step in for the Branch Manager during periods of absence

  • High-level computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
  • A customer-first attitude with a drive for continuous improvement
