About the Role
We are looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our humble, hungry and innovative team, in our growing Agriculture division. Reporting to our Head of Sales, you will be selling new and existing products to businesses in our current regions and maintaining important relationships with our growing customer database. You will be responsible for expanding your business area while embodying the values the Jeffries family brand represents.
While this role is based at our Wingfield office, the expectation is to be largely on the road, to build and nurture customer relationships in regions including Clare, Mildura, Adelaide Hills, Barossa and the Riverland. Regular travel to these regions will be required as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with growers, distributors, and industry partners
- Acting as the main point of contact for customer and distributor support within the Jeffries Agriculture Division
- Promoting and selling Jeffries Organic Compost, Soil, Mulch, and Fertilizer products across existing and new agricultural regions
- Identifying growth opportunities and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs
- Providing product education and support to help customers get the best results from Jeffries products
- Working towards individual and team sales goals, budgets, and OKRs, with a focus on sustainable growth
- Using CRM tools to track insights, identify trends, and report on customer activity and engagement
- Proactively maintaining customer satisfaction and retention through consistent, professional follow-up
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure service and delivery expectations are met
What You'll Bring
- A proactive approach and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- High levels of self-motivation, initiative, and personal accountability
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- A genuine interest in organic recycling, gardening, and sustainability
- Solid CRM literacy and a knack for turning data into action (HubSpot experience advantageous)
- Previous experience in sales or a related industry (advantageous but not essential)
