Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to maintain machine reliability, minimize downtime, and keep heavy industry running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis and Fault Finding: Using technical expertise and diagnostic tools, they identify mechanical and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and associated systems.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine servicing, major repairs, and complex component rebuilds on a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Part Replacement: Replace worn or broken parts, including engine components, fuel systems, transmissions, and hydraulic elements.
  • System Servicing: Maintain and repair hydraulic and transmission systems in heavy machinery.
  • Testing: Test repaired machines and components to ensure proper function and performance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and service history for equipment.

  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to strict workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
