Due to an internal move, our Emerald service team are looking for a skilled HV Diesel Fitter to ensure our world-class equipment operates safely and efficiently. In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing Komatsu's heavy equipment and other machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and operational reliability.

Roster: 7/7 roster (day shift only) – 12.5 hr days

·      Night shift only as required

Role Location:Operating from our Emerald branch

You'll be responsible for:

  • Performing all work to or above Komatsu shop manual specifications
  • Representing Komatsu with professionalism, and follow site best practices and safety standards with zero compromise
  • Integrating seamlessly into site operations and identifying areas for continuous improvement
  • Understanding and anticipating customer needs - become a trusted, go-to expert
  • Strictly complying with Komatsu's Golden Rules and all safety protocols
  • Diligently completing and submitting all timesheets, REMAN, and warranty documentation
  • Escalating issues proactively to the right Komatsu or site contacts
  • Thoroughly recording diagnostics, test results, specs, and resources for future reference

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as an HV Diesel Fitter in the heavy equipment industry, with a focus on mining equipment, ideally Komatsu machinery.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
