  • Preparing and presenting monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, for executive assessment and decision-making
  • Work with external auditors and the accounting manager to prepare the year-end consolidated accounts, guaranteeing their accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Evaluate actual monthly income and operational expenses against budgeted amounts and conduct variance analysis to identify performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company financial records and the bank statements, maintaining accuracy and integrity in the financial reporting
  • Responsible for ensuring the reliability and integrity of the ERP system and database
  • Responsible for maintaining the fixed assets register
  • Daily banking of payments by customers (preparation of deposit slips only)
  • Allocating payments from customers on a daily basis (cheques and EFT)
  • Allocating payments from overseas agent
  • Preparing payments to overseas agents
  • Attending to customer enquiries regarding accounts and providing documents when necessary
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Generate ageing report and follow up overdue accounts
  • Generating monthly statement of account for domestic and international customers (age receivables and collections)
  • Providing office support and assistance to the team and accounting manager
  • Other duties as required and reasonably requested by the manager/supervisor
