Position Summary
R.M. Williams is seeking a proactive and analytical Demand Planner to lead inventory availability and optimisation across our Core Range, including Boots, Belts, Small Leather Goods, and Apparel. This role covers both Manufactured Goods from our Adelaide workshop and Purchased Goods from local and international suppliers on a 12-month contract.
You'll play a key role within the Merchandise Planning function, working closely with Finance, Production, and Supply Chain teams to align operations, maintain optimal inventory levels, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute monthly Core Demand Plans aligned with forecasts and promotional calendars
- Maintain optimal inventory levels across the Core Range
- Own and improve demand planning processes, reporting, and communication across the business
- Support the S&OP process in collaboration with Production and Finance teams
- Contribute to future projects within the Planning function
Experience / Technical Requirements
- Proven experience in demand planning within a retail environment
- Strong communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with standalone demand planning tools
- Familiarity with Foresight or Bamboo Rose (preferred)
