The Opportunity

As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in driving accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal availability for core products, new launches, and key promotional materials (e.g., testers, samples, and gifts with purchase) to support revenue budget targets.

What you'll get to do

Demand Forecasting & Planning:

  • Own the demand planning process to develop, maintain, and continuously improve rolling demand forecasts
  • Capture market Insights, collaborating with the Sales and Marketing team
  • Lead monthly Demand Review process
  • Price modelling using SAP IBP
  • PLCM management: Manage demand planning for product lifecycle events including launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and discontinuations
  • POS management: Analyse point-of-sale (POS) data and market trends to adjust forecasts and identify demand patterns

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Finance to reconcile demand forecasts with revenue plans and budget target
  • Partner with Supply Planning to ensure optimal inventory levels while maintaining target customer service levels
  • Act as the primary liaison between headquarters and the local market
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies

Process Improvement & Analytics

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implement best practices
  • Conduct root cause analysis on forecast variances and develop action plans to address performance gaps
  • Develop and automate demand planning dashboards
  • Support implementation of new planning technologies and system upgrades

Systems, Performance Management & Analytics:

  • Maintain demand planning data integrity in enterprise systems (SAP IBP)
  • Monitor and report on forecast accuracy metrics (FA/BIAS) and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain demand planning KPIs dashboard and provide regular insights to stakeholders on demand performance
  • Utilise scenario planning and what-if analysis to assess risks and support strategic decision-making

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • 3-5+ years of Demand Planning experience within FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or a dynamic supply chain environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
  • Proven track record of managing demand forecasts for complex product portfolios
  • Strong proficiency in demand planning systems (SAP IBP ideally) and ERP systems (SAP ideally).
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.); Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Experience with statistical forecasting methods and tools.
  • Data-driven mindset: Analytical ability to operate in a complex planning environment and generate actionable insights.
