The Opportunity
Join our team as a Graduate Demand Planner and kickstart your career within a global leader in fibre cement building solutions. In this role, you'll support the forecasting of product demand and work alongside experienced planners and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product availability and help meet customer needs while minimizing excess inventory.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your analytical and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic and supportive environment. And with structured training and mentoring, this will help you build a strong foundation and grow into a successful supply chain professional.
This role will commence in January 2026.
What you'll do
- Assist in analyzing historical sales data and market trends to support the development of demand forecasts.
 - Learn and apply basic forecasting techniques and tools under the guidance of senior planners.
 - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to understand factors influencing demand, such as promotions and product launches.
 - Monitor forecast accuracy and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
 - Support the identification of potential risks and opportunities related to demand variability.
 - Contribute to inventory planning discussions for new and existing products.
 - Participate in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions to gain exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes.
 
What you'll bring
- A recent Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
 - Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
 - A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
 - Good communication and teamwork skills.
 - Strong Excel skills and an interest in learning forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, ERP systems).
 - A proactive mindset and a passion for solving problems and improving processes.
