- Excellent Career Development Opportunity
- Key Pivotal Role in our Operations Team
- Crows Nest Head Office Location
We are excited to welcome a new Demand Planner into our Supply Chain team based in our Crows Nest Head Office.
You will report to our Demand Planning Manager who is innovative, has a passion for excellence and believes in rewarding talent. This role is responsible for building an accurate bottom-up forecast at product level to enable short- and medium-term planning at all production sites to attend customer orders on-time and in-full.
In this role you will also actively participate in the forecast review step of the integrated business planning cycle and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to obtain quality insights that will build the best possible estimate of future sales. This is not a manager role and is a terrific opportunity for someone who is in a Demand Planner role within Manufacturing/FMCG who wants to develop their career.
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
Bottom-Up Forecasting - Capture, process and analyse relevant data to generate an accurate forecast at product level in Blueshift
Support S&OP Cycle - Lead the monthly Demand Review Meetings for selected accounts and contribute to the monthly MBR Deck. You will use your commercial curiosity to interrogate data and identify gaps and opportunities to minimise product obsolescence and ensure forecasts are as accurate as they can be.
Support Intercompany Operations - Receive, process and analyse the forecast submissions from RPFC business units overseas to flag any potential risks leading to service gaps. Reconcile open intercompany sales orders against service agreements and shipping plans flagging inconsistencies so they are attended to and corrected as appropriate.
We are looking for someone who has a positive energy and an ambition to take the next step in their Demand Planning career within the FMCG/Manufacturing industry. With our pioneering vision of Feed Fresher, Live Better, we have the goal to be #1 Leader in Fresher Pet Nutrition by 2030 and this role will be essential to help us achieve that.

Minimum 2 years of experience in an analytical role with preference for inside sales forecasting, demand planning and/or supply planning areas
Experience in FMCG Environment essential
Experience using Demand Planning tools (such as Blueshift) desirable
Strong Analytical Skills - you have the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. In fact, you love using data to tell a story and are known for creating visual dashboards using tools such as PowerBI
Proven ability to collaborate in a positive and meaningful way with stakeholders internal and external to the business including sales, operations, and site finance leads.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics or experience in a similar role preferred.
