We offer to you a position as one of the faces to our company – as a salesperson and professional concierge, on a flexible basis. Full-time, Part-time, and Casual positions are being offered to competent players of the Violin, Cello, Viola, and Double Bass.
About You:
- Ability to play and demonstrate your chosen instrument (violin, cello, viola, or bass)
- Flexible, and positive work attitude.
- Proactive in starting, and following up on tasks and duties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional time management.
- High level of communication skills.
- Prior retail experience is highly favourable.
- Multilingual applicants will also be greatly considered.
- Holding a current Driver's License is also very helpful.
- Availability to work across a 7 day roster.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administrative retail tasks
- Assisting customers to select instruments and accessories
- Assisting with displays and merchandising
- Picking, packing and sending online orders
- Communicating with local schools and professionals seeking our services.
- Participate in content creation for our website and social media (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
- Advertising and outreach to conferences and programs.
- Communicating effectively across our four Vivace Music stores, our suppliers, and our associates.
- Maintain the presentation of the business, both in-store, and online.
