As a Centre Manager/ Nominated Supervisor at True Maple Bilingual ELC Johnsonville, you'll play a significant role in fostering a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment for the children, as well as be responsible to support and guide the team of Educators to upkeep The True Maple Standards to the children and families.

Our Johnsonville Centre is located conveniently in between Bairnsdale and Lakes entrance. Proposed for 48 places. This position will start from September.

You are required to work in the rooms on some days to support break covers / planning etc.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support / guide educators to deliver a high-quality educational play-based learning programs, with focus on each child's wellbeing and development is considered and valued.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the community.
  • Ensure the team is well supported and together to create a nurturing and positive workplace
  • Show sound understanding of child safety awareness
  • Show initiatives on proactive parent-teacher communication and partnership working with families
  • Sound knowledge of EYLF2.0
  • Show sound knowledge of National laws and Regulations
  • Ability to master management software
  • Show understanding of business development, awareness of marketing opportunities to promote the Centre in the community.

You must have:

  • Minimum of Diploma Qualified
  • Minimum of 3 years work experiences working as Lead educator
  • Strong communication skills
  • A demonstrated passion for children, their development, and a strong commitment to child safety
  • A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
  • First Aid Training
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and Mandatory Reporting
  • Police check no more than 3 months
  • Australian Citizen or PR preferred, no sponsorship for this position
