At Natures Playground Early Learning Centre, we believe in childhood the way it should be. Full of freedom, fresh air, and moments that matter. Our days are filled with puddle jumping, bug spotting, and mud pie making, all guided by a child-led, nature-based approach that honours curiosity, not checklists.

We're a private family owned, purpose-driven centre. We are not part of a big chain, and proud of it. Here, we're far more interested in emotional wellbeing than KPIs, and we measure success in happy children, supported educators, and a team that feels genuinely connected.

We're looking for a Centre Director who shares our values and is ready to lead with heart, not hierarchy.

What You'll Do:

  • Guide and support our team while keeping our philosophy at the centre of everything
  • Build strong, honest relationships with families, children, and educators
  • Manage day to day operations (yes, there's paperwork - but we keep it human)
  • Protect and promote our nature-based, curiosity led learning approach
  • Be present, not just in the office, but out in the garden, on the floor, in the moments that matter (no you won't be part of ratios)

We care deeply about our team, not just as educators, but as people. We won't be cutting hours to save pennies or setting impossible targets. Instead, we focus on team morale, emotional growth, and creating a workplace where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.

What You Bring:

  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
  • Experience in a leadership or coordinator role
  • A strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and all the practical bits - but also the heart behind them
  • A calm, confident, and collaborative approach to leadership
  • A genuine love for nature, play, and letting children lead the way
