Lucknow Kindergarten is a family-owned, funded 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten with long day care hours.

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a Centre Manager to lead, support and manage our team of educators and day-to-day operations.

The role is 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday) in 2026, with the option to increase to 5 days per week in 2027 (or sooner for the right candidate).

Minimum requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood
  • Previous management experience in childcare/early years
  • Strong computer and organisational skills

About the service

  • Lucknow Kindergarten is a recently built 66-place service that opened in January 2022.
  • The Approved Provider operates both Lucknow Kindergarten and Eastwood Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten, which is well known in the community for its long waitlists.
  • Three and four-year-old funded kindergarten is offered to 4 groups of children from Monday to Thursday. In 2027, four-year-old children will all have a third day, which will operate on Friday.
  • The kindergarten is located directly next to Lucknow Primary School. This provides a unique opportunity for the kinder and school to work in partnership, enabling children and families to build a connection prior to their first year of school.
  • Children have access to a large range of ethically sourced, sensory-rich, open-ended and durable resources that support their holistic learning and development.
