About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing development team.

In this role, you'll contribute to building and improving our telehealth platform that connects veterinarians and pet owners across Australia.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an agile, collaborative environment and loves creating meaningful digital experiences that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and enhance features across our web and mobile platforms

  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and veterinary teams to deliver smooth user experiences

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

  • Support ongoing improvements to performance, reliability, and scalability

  • Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and agile development cycles

  • Contribute ideas and solutions to help improve our systems and processes

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience

  • Background in software development, ideally with exposure to both front-end and back-end systems

  • Familiarity with modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python

  • Experience working with frameworks like React, , or similar technologies

  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and database systems (SQL/NoSQL)

  • Some exposure to agile development practices, version control, and CI/CD tools

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for creating technology that improves lives — especially for our furry friends
