SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade and embedded software solutions. The role requires a strong background in embedded systems, cloud-based applications, and full software development lifecycle management, with proven ability to work across international teams and industries such as automotive and enterprise ICT. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to ensure rapid, reliable deployment. Build, integrate, and optimise microservices, RESTful APIs, and containerised solutions (Docker, Kubernetes). Migrate legacy applications to cloud environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Develop data management solutions including ETL pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases, and dashboards for real-time analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and translate them into cloud-first solutions. Apply industry best practices in cloud security, compliance, and cost optimisation. Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, preparing user stories, solution designs, and technical documentation. Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior developers within the cloud engineering team. Support cross-border collaboration with AVTech’s offices in Vietnam and other regions. Travel when required.   Qualification & experience Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Personality Attributes To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate MUST HAVE the following skills, experience, qualifications and personality attributes:   Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Software Engineer (at least 3 years work experience) with a strong focus on cloud platforms. Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps, Fabric), AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3), and cloud security frameworks. Solid programming background in C/C++, Python, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript. Experience in system integration and migrating enterprise applications to cloud environments. Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes including CI/CD automation, containerisation, and infrastructure as code. Background in automotive/embedded software development is highly regarded (ISO 26262, ECU systems). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and performance optimisation. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology at large scale. Communication languages: English and Vietnamese.   Qualifications Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Technology Industry certifications in project management, cloud platforms, or functional safety will be an advantage.
