The Role

As IT Support Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for staff seeking IT support across all company locations. You'll help troubleshoot technical issues, deploy hardware, and assist with applications, networks, and devices, contributing to smooth day-to-day operations and continuous improvement. You will:

• Provide first-line IT support to staff across all locations, including troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, and network issues, both remotely and on-site.
• Monitor, manage, and resolve Service Desk requests, escalating complex issues to the IT Coordinator, IT personnel, or external contractors when required.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain company standard hardware and software, ensuring systems are secure, up-to-date, and operating efficiently.
• Maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, hardware/software registers, and approved password databases to support consistent operations.
• Assist with IT projects, research and recommend new technologies, and support the implementation of improvements under the guidance of the IT Coordinator/Manager.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and consultants for repairs, installations, or technical support as required.
• Act as a backup to the IT Coordinator for escalated technical issues and participate in ongoing training to maintain certifications and technical knowledge.
• Comply with HSE, financial, and company policies, proactively identifying potential risks, and ensuring all IT operations meet compliance and safety standards.

About You

You are a proactive IT professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset. You bring:

• Diploma or Degree in Computing, Computer Science, or IT, or relevant industry certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, VMware).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar IT support role.
• Experience in a networked Windows/Active Directory environment.
• Proficiency with remote support tools and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to a changing technology landscape, and work under pressure.
