We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker to join our team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

As the Mortgage Broker, your role will include but not limited to the following:

· Gathering clients' financial requirements

· Assessing clients' financial standing and borrowing power

· Recommending suitable home loans based on the clients' requirements and financial status

· Making arrangements for home loan mortgages via banks and lenders

· Providing documents that shows home loan details (including but not limited to: conditions, repayments, and loan periods)

· Making arrangements and ensuring the completion of loan application documents

· Providing updates on clients' loan application

· Working with lenders to reduce loan settlements delay

· Being an efficient and productive team player

· Liaising with the Directors to meet company goals and objectives

Skills and Qualification:

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric approach

· Proven knowledge of mortgage lending, financial products, and regulatory requirements (NCCP, BID)

· Analytical ability to assess client financials and interpret lending scenarios

· Experience with self-employed income, trust structures, and complex credit cases is advantageous

· Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines

· Competency with CRM systems, lending tools (e.g. Quickli), and lender portals

· Relevant qualifications in mortgage broking (e.g. Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking)

· Positive and upbeat communication style and attitude

· Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion

· Proven accuracy and attention to detail in handling complex information

· Familiarity with self-employed income analysis, trust structures, and credit risk assessment

· Strong organisational and time management skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet business objectives
