- Demonstrated knowledge of operational procedures, safety regulations and compliance requirements
Desirable attributes:
- Relevant qualifications/accreditations in Waste Management
- Experience using WasteMan or similar weighbridge software
On a typical day this role will:
- Oversee daily site operations to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections and team meetings to reinforce safe work practices.
- Monitor stockpiles (e.g. green waste, scrap metal) and ensure waste is accepted, stored and removed safely.
- Identify and respond to operational or maintenance issues, escalating where required.
- Supervise contractors, including conducting site inductions.
- Engage with staff, contractors and the community to resolve operational queries or customer requests.
