Expression of Interest – Petrol Station Manager

**Please note. This role does not exist currently and is an expression of interest. It will be established on 1st November when we take business management rights of a petrol station in the Illawarra region. We are preemptively recruiting our manager for this site to start the job on November 1st**

YOU do not need to have specific petrol station experience but it will surely be a bonus. Some management experience running a busy operation (retail, hospitality, quick food service etc...) is required.

YOU will be a fantastic people-person and know how to lead people especially with a busy roster and busy day to day operations. You consider yourself a great 'coach', trainer and guidance to the staff junior to you and you take great pride in seeing them develop and flourish at work. That is your number 1 skill. Please do not apply if you do not consider yourself an excellent communicator and people person

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations across fuel, shop, and food service areas
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a positive, high-performing team culture
  • Drive compliance with WHS, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Oversee rostering, payroll, and cost control to meet financial targets
  • Deliver exceptional customer service standards and resolve issues effectively
  • Ensure site presentation, branding, and merchandising are always of a high standard
  • Implement operational policies, cash handling, and loss prevention measures

We will also offer financial bonus or incentives for hitting performance goals like sales numbers etc (to be discussed).
