About the role

As the Recruitment and Mobilisation Administrator at DTH Engineering PTY LTD, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. This full-time position is based in East Rockingham and is an office-based position only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidate Resourcing: Assist in Coordinating the search for qualified candidates suitable for diverse projects, shutdown, and fabrication undertakings by employing proactive recruitment strategies.
• Onboarding Process: Facilitating a seamless onboarding experience for selected candidates, ensuring compliance with all necessary procedures, and expediting their integration into project teams.
• Performance Database Management: Maintaining and updating comprehensive databases to meticulously track candidate performance, providing valuable insights for resource allocation and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and legal requirements throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Industry Networking: Building and nurturing a network of potential candidates and industry professionals to expand the pool of qualified resources available to DTH Engineering.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifying areas of improvement in recruitment and mobilisation processes, implementing best practices to optimise efficiency and candidate selection.

Duties:

• Employee Onboarding: Assisting with employee onboarding and preparing employment contract documents, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed before the employee's commencement of employment. Collaborating with the Recruitment & Mobilisation Coordinator for support.
• Employee Records: Managing employee files, licenses, and training documents.
• Administration: Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks related to recruitment and mobilisations.
• Onboarding Process: Assisting with the delivery of onboarding processes for new hires.
• Training Matrix: Maintaining the Training Matrix and identifying training shortfalls.
• Resource Allocation: Ensuring resource availability and proper allocation for projects.
• Performance Register: Establishing and maintaining a performance register for employees.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar recruitment or HR coordination role
• Previous experience in blue collar recruitment/mobilisation to the mining and resources industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities effectively
• Intermediate to Advanced level in Microsoft suite of products
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing a high-quality candidate experience
• Familiarity with employment and HR-related legislation and best practices
