Your new role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on the mental health and wellbeing of Queensland's culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.  In this role, you will:

  • Develop, coordinate and evaluate prevention programs and projects that promote wellbeing and reduce stigma in CALD communities.
  • Partner with community groups and service providers to build mental health literacy and resilience across Queensland.
  • Deliver presentations and training to enhance the cultural capability of service providers and strengthen early intervention.
  • Apply strong project management skills to deliver evidence-based initiatives under the leadership of the Statewide Community Partnerships and Integration Leader.

You are an experienced project professional with a passion for improving mental health outcomes in diverse communities. You bring cultural capability, creativity and collaboration to everything you do. To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with cultural sensitivity and inclusivity at the core.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering health or community-based projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of contemporary mental health promotion and prevention strategies and policy frameworks.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and adapt to varied cultural contexts.
