Overview
We are seeking an experienced Case Manager – Relationships to join our team. In this role, you will provide dedicated service to insurers and the client Trustee, supporting members through Death, Terminal Illness, Income Protection, Permanent Incapacity and Total & Permanent Disablement claims.
This position requires professionalism, empathy, and strong case management skills to ensure members receive accurate and timely information, delivered with respect and sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of claims with ownership and accountability
- Provide clear, respectful and proactive communication to members
- Establish rapport and build trust to support positive experiences
- Minimise delays through effective coordination and document management
- Handle sensitive and complex conversations with empathy and care
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes
- Contribute to service improvements and process enhancements
Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements
Skills & Experience
- Case management or assessment experience (group life or personal injury)
- Knowledge of group insurance and superannuation (Death, TPD, TIB, PI)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Empathy and resilience when dealing with sensitive matters
- RG146 compliant (or willingness to obtain)
Tertiary qualifications in business, insurance, legal, financial planning or related disciplines (desirable)
