Join Our Team – Summer Roles at Foys Restaurant & Bar and Flying Bear Café

We're gearing up for a busy summer season across our iconic harbourside venues – Foys Restaurant & Bar and Flying Bear Café Kirribilli – and we're looking for energetic, enthusiastic people to join our team

We're hiring for various casual 10-34 hours per week positions, (minimum 3 days per week) Including:

  • Baristas
  • Waitstaff
  • Bartenders
  • Hosts / Front Desk

About Our Venues

  • Foys Restaurant & Bar: A modern waterfront dining destination located above the Sydney Flying Squadron, known for its fresh menu, stunning harbour views, and buzzing summer trade. Trading Monday - Sunday 12pm until late.
  • Flying Bear Café: A relaxed harbourside café loved by locals, rowers, dog-walkers, and weekend brunchers alike. Trading Monday - Sunday 7am-4pm.

Both venues are easily accessible by public transport, just a short walk from Milsons Point station, Kirribilli Wharf, and surrounding bus routes.

What You'll Do

Depending on your role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Welcoming and seating guests (hosts).
  • Taking orders, running food and drinks, clearing and resetting tables (waitstaff).
  • Preparing great coffee and beverages (baristas).
  • Serving drinks, cocktails, and maintaining bar service (bartenders).
  • Delivering outstanding customer service to guests.
  • Supporting the team with cleaning, stock, and general set-up / pack-down duties.

What We're Looking For

  • Working rights in Australia.
  • 1+ years' hospitality experience in preferred role essential.
  • A positive, energetic attitude and great communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team players who bring friendliness and reliability.
