At The Botanist, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, crafting innovative cocktails, and creating a memorable experience for our guests. As the venue Beverages Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards and driving our bar operations to new heights.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead and inspire a team of bartenders, barbacks, and other bar staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and maintain an extensive cocktail menu, utilizing creativity and an understanding of current trends.
- Create and implement bar-related promotions, events, and activities to attract and retain customers.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to safety and health regulations.
- Train and mentor staff members, ensuring consistent customer service and beverage preparation excellence.
- Collaborate with the management team to set financial targets, monitor budgets, and analyse sales data.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role, preferably in a high-volume and upscale establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, and wine, with the ability to create unique and appealing cocktails.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in managing inventory, analysing sales data, and controlling costs.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and bar-related software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Relevant certification - Responsible Service of Alcohol
